Joy really love Mindy alot. This is what happen last nite:

Mindy is playing with Joy by slapping her face (quite hard)
Me: Mindy, NO. Cannot beat jie jie
Joy: Mummy no, she never beat me. She is playing with me

Me: Mindy, NO. Cannot pull jie jie hair. Jie Jie pain pain.
Joy: Mummy, no. Mindy is playing with me.

Its so heart warming to see them so close to each other & enjoying each other company.

This year Children's Day was a very lousy one. Joy has spread her illness to Zoey & she was sick since Children's Day at 3.30pm :(

Why i remember the timing so clearly is that we are about to prepare to attend my cousin's daughter 1 year old birthday celebration at East Coast chalet after Zoey's nap. When she woke up, we realise that she had running nose & her voice was coarse. True enough, a few hours later, she had fever.

Zoey fever just subside today but her nose is still like tap water & is very cranky. She could not sleep & eat/ drink well also :(

Joy has almost recovered but the cough might take a long time to recover.

After this episode, i will never let them take stuff which is taken out directly from thye fridge again (especially jelly).

Sick Gals (2)

My gals are sick again :( Joy was down with fever (highest temp 39.3) & one ulcer at the inside of the lips since Thur. When the nurse knows that Joy has fever & ulcer, she instruct us try not to touch the toys at the clinic. When one mummy heard that, she keep on looking at us with a worried face, so i got to bring Joy out of the clinic so as not to cause panic to that mummy. Lucky doctor say its not HFMD.

Joy has been moody these few days due to the big ulcer, did not talk & eat solid food as it is hurting her :( She clings on to me like a koala bear, refuse to let me eat, refuse to let me carry Zoey & refuse to let ah gong, ah ma & sometimes papa to carry her. To cheer her up, i went to the mkt & buy bubbles for her to play. She was so happy & started to talk finally. Money well spent :)

Zoey had fever since yesterday. Highest temp is 38. something. She vomitted once at the clinic & another time at hme. Doctor says the fever will last 3 to 4 days. She still having slight fever now.

Hope my gals will recover soon & be stronger.

Last Sun was grandpa birthday, so Mama dress me & jie jie up to go to grandpa house to celebrate the birthday with him.

Sick Gals

Joy is down with bronchitis last Sat, doctor also diagnose that she has nose allergy just like Mama. So we got to keep those furry soft toy & forbid her to play with powder.

She was also on nebulisar & to my surprise, she did not cry throughout the session. She's my brave girl indeed. Even the nurse at the PD clinic compliment her :) She was on anti-biotic & had 3-4 types of medication. So we leave the chore of feeding medicine to Joy Ah Ma (Joy can kick & scream when eating medicine, only Ah Ma can hold her down & force the medicine down her throat), another reason is that we do not want to play the villian.

Then Zoey also fall ill on Tue. She had cough with phlegm. So I quickly had my dinner & brought her to the same PD as Joy. However, she became breathless in the middle of the nite (with phegm blocking her airway) & wake up & cried twice. She was also wheezing. So Papa decided to head to KK Hospital A&E at abt 4am.

Over there, she was put on nebuliser & she was given a type of medication that contain mild steriod. While on neubuliser, she cried badly & I nearly cried with her... Wish I am the one going through all this.....

As I'm writing these, Zoey is sleeping & we have to monitor her for these 2 days as doctor at KK says that she had Croup cough. The condition will become worse at nite. So hopefully she will be ok tonite with no wheezing.

The medical cost for these 2 girls is a total of $300+. Hope that my 2 darlings recover soon.

Mama wish that both of you are healthy & happy. I love you my darlings.
